Tony Larson worked in the Art Dump at The Girl Skateboard Company for almost 10 years, pumping out a bunch of skateboard graphics.I met him around the time I started working at Transworld Skateboarding Magazine in the mid-2000's.
I liked Tony right away. Maybe it's because we have the same tweaked humor but i suspect It's because he's an authentic soul and that stands out in todays world or artificially flavored imposters.
Tonys art has a broad range that reflects his musical taste which ranges from obscure punk to smooth soul and jazz. You cant out a label on Larson, nor should you. If you're looking for an original vibe in a world of clones, Larson is the artist for you.
