If Skip Frye had one shaper that has gone to school and reproduces boards as close as possible to Skip's catalog of designs, its Michael Miller.
For nearly 20 years, Michael glassed almost all of Skip's personal boards as well as boards for a few lucky customers. He would glass, sand, fin and polish Skips boards so his hands know every contour and concave as well as anyone. As his custom surfboard business grew in demand, he stopped glassing to focus on his shaping and creating some of the most beautiful surfboards you can find anywhere.
Besides his Skip Frye influenced designs, Michael can shape anything under the sun and gladly accepts custom orders. If you have any questions on our stock boards or if you want to order a custom, we can help you through the process.
