Joe Curren is one of those people who has been a friend I've admired for many years. Mostly for his independent spirit and finding his own path regardless of his name and lineage. We met when he moved to Pacific Beach in the mid 90's and right away I liked his quiet persona and his sharp wit.
Over the decades he's moved to Oregon and built a good life for himself, his wife and daughter. He shapes surfboards, takes gorgeous photos and handcrafts his own picture frames of rare and indigenous woods. Theres another thirty things I could list but he may not like the light shined on those parts of his life. He is, after all, a Curren. They like their privacy.
Take a look through Joes offerings and get a glimpse into an extraordinary person. Please contact me for more info and to order custom frames.
