12’ Todd Pinder/ Quigg Inspired Sabre Jet
When you hear that “not all boards are created equal,” this is a prime example of that statement. Joe Quigg shaped Buzzy Trent a board that was so incredible, it’s still talked about to this day. The “Sabre Jet” was a foiled out missle of a board that Quigg designed for Buzzy for huge Makaha. The balsa board that some dubbed “Excalibur” is the stuff of legend. The eras premiere board maker with arguably the worlds best big wave surfer paired up to create a legacy.
Pinder was tasked with recreating the board buns customer during the early days of the pandemic. Todd shaped and glassed the board at Moonlight Glassing in North County San Diego and documented the process via his Instagram acct.
This board is made for long paddles to offshore reefs and likes waves of size. If you liked the Dave Parmenter PSV we had a few weeks ago, you’ll love this.
