8’ Skip Frye Magic circa 1976/77
New on consignment is this really cool Select Surf Shop era Frye Magic model. Looks to have been expertly restored/tuned up at some point. Super flat deck speed machine.
The Select era Frye are unique as Skip had yet to start drawing wings on his boards until at one point he didn’t have laminates so he started drawing wings on the deck and signing them. Once he had laminates again, he decided to keep signing the boards in the bottom and putting the lams on the deck. So this one was before all that.
This one was found in a storage unit a few years ago. In great solid condition but again looks to have been cleaned up at some point in its life. Weight is not bad at all and has great dims.
