11’1” Skip Frye Eagle 

This one is special one. Brand new and kept in the bag since it was picked up in 2005. The Eagle is the quintessential glider made by the godfather of the design, Skip Frye, since 1967,  and he’s kept making and refining them ever since. 

If you went back to 1990 and looked at the “Big Board” offerings from shapers, you would find mostly log type shapes or big boaty boards that were not finessed at all. 
Skip was making these gliders while most were chasing performance longboards or nose riders. Over the decades Skips vision of the big boards has lead May down the path but few can make anything as beautiful as Skips Eagles. 

This one was in a private collection for 20 years, never waxed, never ridden, never displayed. Just in a board bag in storage. If you’ve ever wanted a Frye Eagle, this is one you don’t want to pass on.
