The Drifter from Michael Miller is one of the best “big Boards” you will ride. The glide is there, but so is the maneuverability. Based on Skip Frye’s Fish Simmons design from the early 1990s, nobody builds them as close to Skip as Michael.
These love open faced waves from 3-10’. Big Sano and Malibu, head-high Rincon and most every wave has a day and ride that fit this design perfectly. Why these are not at every wave on Oahu’s South Shore, I’ll never know. These would be the ultimate Town cruiser.
