This one is really cool. Hynson made the HYII after the huge success of the “Redfin” and his appearance in the Endless Summer. His personal brand was as high profile as it gets. So when this new model came out they utilized the classic endless summer image of Mike on the label.
This one is a reissue shaped to spec by the master Steve Seebold. The one thing that I noticed most was the incredible lightness of it. The old ones were volan and heavy as hell. This one is featherlight and would be amazing for a woman surfer or a light man. You will leave the crowd at Pipes jealous when you go out there on this thing.
