9’10” G&S Step Deck “SS” Model
The original step deck “SS” model from Gordon and Smith was well received in 1968 when made its debut. The success of the Greg Noll Da Cat model also features the Step Deck but with months, the shortboard revolution was in full swing. Board dropped feet in a Matter of months and the old classic longboard would disappear and not gain mass acceptance again until the late 1980s.
This one comes in barely used, with a small storage scuff on the bottom. It’s a very clear 9/10 condition. It’s light, springy with all its life left. New these retail for $1600-$1800 depending on the color.
