Roy Sanchez has been making some of San Diegos finest surfboards for the past 40 years. From his own brand back in the 80's, Pacific Wave Craft, to making boards for some of the biggest names in surfing. Global brands like Rusty, Bing, CI, Christenson and more. Chances are you've had a favorite board that Roy shaped for you and you didn't even know it.

So here it is - The Airstream. Roys newest take-off from the already tried and true, San Diego Standby- The Magic. Whats the difference?  The Airstream has the same classic Magic DNA, reminiscent of the classic 1970s design made popular by Paul Bordieri of G&S. This versatile outline that’s been a San Diego standby for 50 years. Roy tuned up  the bottom contours and added a tri-plane hull that features a deep single concave into a double barrel concave to vee off the tail.

This funnels the water flow from rail to bottom and the feeling is added speed and rail to rail turning. Basically think of it as a souped-up restomod instead of old V-8 classic crusier.
