About Hydrophile:

This brand was born from a scrap pile of another hobby. My first fin was made from cull bamboo and off-cut basalt fiber from handmade snowboards. It opened the door to a realm of design exploration. A culmination of aesthetic, (garage) engineering, and creativity that has no bounds.

My fins are made with the highest quality materials and a bio-based epoxy resin. I think you’ll find the results lively and well considered. I’m intrigued by alternative surfcraft and unique ideas, so please reach out if you need help bringing a concept to fruition.
